Abstract

The high-temperature deformation behavior of oxide dispersion strengthened steels was investigated and correlated to the resulting microstructure using electron microscopy. Viscoplastic constitutive equations were developed from the results to model the deformation behavior.

Abstract

Nowadays drivers have to get along with an increasing complex visual environment in road traffic. There are not only distractions available within the vehicle, like radio, navigation system and passengers. The environment outside the car becomes also more and more complex. Car drivers’ gaze behaviour while being distracted is studied on the basis of some examples. Furthermore different performance indicators are analysed.

Abstract

An important requirement for the combination of two materials in order to get a low stress and low warpage, crack-free composite component is a timely synchronized sintering behavior of both components. The aim of this work was to analyze the effect of the particle size distribution on the sintering behavior and the resulting consequences of the particle size change for the flow properties during injection molding.

Abstract

In this work, the ratcheting-behavior of 9%Cr-1%Mo ferritic–martensitic steel is studied with uniaxial cyclic loading. To describe the ratcheting-behavior of this steel, a visco-plastic constitutive model with consideration of cyclic softening of Reduced Activation Ferritic Martensitic steels is further modified, based on the analysis of back stress.
