Dieses Open Access Buch ist ein Beitrag zur Methodik transdisziplinärer Forschung, und zwar für transformative wie nicht-transformative Forschung, für solche innerhalb wie außerhalb von Reallaboren. Methoden der Wissenserzeugung, Wissensintegration und Transformation werden ausführlich beschrieben und illustriert, so dass Dritte sie umsetzen können. Entwickelt wurden diese Methoden von Reallaboren in Baden-Württemberg. Reflexionen über Partizipation, die Rolle von Praxisakteuren und die Güte partizipativer Forschung runden das Buch ab. Diese sind gewonnen aus der forschungspraktischen Erfahrung in Reallaboren. Sie adressieren grundlegende Fragen transdisziplinärer Forschung, die weit über das Forschungsformat Reallabor hinausreichen.

Viele aktuelle Forschungs- und Entwicklungsfragen der Fachdidaktik Deutsch sind nur interdisziplinär – z. B. in Kooperation mit Bildungswissenschaften und anderen Fachdidaktiken – zu bearbeiten. Die Deutschdidaktik forscht deshalb immer öfter in fächerübergreifenden Projekten. Die Beiträge des Sammelbandes gehen der Frage nach, wie sich deutschdidaktische Fragestellungen und Untersuchungsmethoden einerseits und Forschungsparadigmen der kooperierenden Disziplin(en) andererseits produktiv aufeinander beziehen lassen. Vor dem Hintergrund unterschiedlicher Konstellationen und Ziele der Zusammenarbeit diskutieren die Autorinnen und Autoren Erkenntnisse sowie Herausforderungen und bringen dabei die Perspektiven von Forschenden aus der Deutschdidaktik und aus anderen Fachkulturen miteinander ins Spiel.

In a participatory research project with women with learning difficulties, the author has researched questions relating to self-determination and self-determination and presents the results here. Through the active involvement of women with learning difficulties, their view of the contents, methods and results of the research is reflected in the jointly planned project.

Using virtue as an example, the study provides an insight into the normative and subjective orientations of young people in their everyday school context. The concept of virtue in previous educational debates is juxtaposed with a perspective that incorporates the students' point of view: In contrast to the normatively used concept of virtue, the present findings present virtue of honesty as an ambivalent behavior that is situation-, context- and person-dependent. Since ancient Greece, virtues have been a central theme of pedagogy. Educational philosophers have repeatedly developed catalogues of virtues which they assumed could guide practical education. The present work asks how young people adapt to educational demands and undermine them to their own advantage. The question is pursued using the example of school-relevant virtue honesty by interviewing 16 young people in the school context using problem-centred interviews. The results of the study refer to explicit and implicit rules of honesty, which can be divided into conventional and unconventional rules.

This publication contains the recommendations of the German Data Forum (RatSWD) for expanding the research infrastructure for the social, economic and behavioral sciences. They were previously published as part of the comprehensive double-volume final report „Building on Progress – Expanding the Research Infrastructure for the Social, Economic, and Behavioral Sciences“. The recommendations are based on the 68 advisory reports published in the aforementioned final report. They reflect the current status of consideration regarding design and development of an internationally viable and innovative research infrastructure for the social, economic and behavioral sciences in Germany. The information presented in this short volume is aimed at policy makers, researchers, as well as research sponsors.

Vocational education and training in Germany, especially the Dual System of Vocational Education and Training, is receiving great attention and appreciation in some EU countries, not least against the background of very high youth unemployment. The artistic research in COMPANY investigates behind the scenes of everyday worklife in a metalworking industrial enterprise. In photographs, videos, and conversations with the workers in this company, the authors search out signs and structures of that "company" with which bread is shared (lat. cum pane), a society which, despite seemingly predetermined rules, is always a work in progress.
