Abstract

A partir del treball de camp antropològic, l'anàlisi de documentació notarial i la reconstrucció de cursos domèstics, s'estudia la residència i el seu paper com a element definidor de la casa com a institució al Pla d'Urgell (Lleida) durant els segles XIX i XX. S'analitzen els models ideològics entorn de la casa i la residència, les formes residencials, així com els factors que influeixen en la variabilitat d'aquestes. S'analitzen els factors sòcio-econòmics i demogràfics que giran a l'entorn de la residència.

Abstract

Open-source electronics are becoming very popular, and are integrated with our daily educational and developmental activities. At present, the use open-source electronics for teaching science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) has become a global trend. Off-the-shelf embedded electronics such as Arduino- and Raspberry-compatible modules have been widely used for various applications, from do-it-yourself (DIY) to industrial projects. In addition to the growth of open-source software platforms, open-source electronics play an important role in narrowing the gap between prototyping and product development. Indeed, the technological and social impacts of open-source electronics in teaching, research, and innovation have been widely recognized.

Abstract

This collection of research and review papers is aimed at depicting the state of the art on the possible correlations between processing variables, obtained structure and special properties which this structure induces on the plastic part. The extraordinary capacity of plastics to modify their properties according to a particular structure is evidenced for several transformation processes and for many applications. The final common goal is to take profit of this peculiar capacity of plastics by inducing, through a suitable processing, a specific spatial organization.
