Abstract

Il PLS (Piano Lauree Scientifiche) Matematica è nato per rendere appassionante la matematica a studenti e insegnanti, tramite la realizzazione di attività coinvolgenti e divertenti. Tre giochi, in particolare, sono stati pensati e organizzati sotto forma di gara (non competitiva) da un team di giovani matematici e proposti agli studenti del Piemonte.Riuscire a coinvolgere e stimolare tutti gli studenti, spesso poco abituati a lavorare in gruppo, è stato uno degli obiettivi degli organizzatori delle gare. Non c’è bisogno di essere geni della matematica per potervi prendere parte, ma occorre solo la voglia di impegnarsi con spirito collaborativo.Le azioni del PLS proposte in questo volume sono indirizzate agli studenti come attività di laboratorio insolite e creative e seguite da conferenze su temi accattivanti, che mettono in luce le varie sfaccettature della matematica nella realtà che ci circonda.In questo volume sono documentate le gare e i giochi, le conferenze orientative e il convegno nazionale PLS riferiti all’A.S. 2012/2013, pensando che i materiali raccolti possano essere riutilizzati dai docenti al fine di ripetere l’esperienza con i propri studenti.

Abstract

The first volume of the series “Scripta Ladina Brixinensia” edited by Paul Videsott is dedicated to the Ladin language in the educational system – compulsory schools, secondary schools, universities/colleges – in the regions of Trentino-Alto Adige and Friuli as well as in the Canton of Grisons. The focus is on the Ladin department, a unique feature of the Free University of Bolzano, aiming at the documentation, description and the development of the Ladin language. The final contribution presents the volume Sprachen im Vergleich: Deutsch-Ladinisch-Italienisch which is designed as a teaching aid for multilingual language teaching in Ladin schools.

Abstract

Italiano con l'immaginario introduces a humanistic approach of language teaching little known in Italy, deriving from the French teaching tradition. Simulation globale is a language teaching course which, instead of offering many detached activities and using a standard manual, follows a path on which all elements are connected by a narrative thread. Thus, the oral and written production of a large number of texts takes place within a very motivating context.

Abstract

This book provides an insight into the patterns of variation and change of rhotics in different languages and from a variety of perspectives. It sheds light on the phonetics, the phonology, the socio-linguistics and the acquisition of /r/-sounds in languages as diverse as Dutch, English, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Italian, Kuikuro, Malayalam, Romanian, Slovak, Tyrolean and Washili Shingazidja thus contributing to the discussion on the unity and uniqueness of this group of sounds.

Abstract

Today, the teaching of knowledge is facing a twofold challenge: the demand for comprehensibility despite the high complexity of contents and the achievement of acceptable results in school in situations of ever-growing diversity. This opens up new research areas for linguistics: on the one hand, the communicative acts of members of a language community in everyday life and in specialized settings; on the other hand, the variable contexts of the speech acts, which require the co-orientation of social actors, which in turn also needs to be acquired and practiced like the languages with their formal and structural characteristics. Based upon these premises, this volume presents findings and theoretical approaches which make corpus findings available for the study and the didactics of language teaching concerning the the three school languages ??of German, Italian and English. Special emphasis is put on the varieties of the German language in South Tyrol and the interface problem.
