DOAB partners with SciELO to further enhance publisher discoverability and simplify workflows

Through this new initiative, SciELO Books becomes part of a group of several trusted platforms to enhance the discoverability of open access books and create a more seamless process for publishers to list their open access books in DOAB.
Big Ten Academic Alliance and DOAB and OAPEN Announce a Three-Year Collective Action Agreement
The Hague, 17, May, 2021. The Big Ten Academic Alliance has entered into a three-year collective action agreement with the Directory of Open Access Books (DOAB) and OAPEN Library and Publication Platform (OAPEN) to provide financial support from all fifteen member libraries.
DOAB relaunches on the open source DSpace platform
The Hague, 17 February 2021. The DOAB Foundation is pleased to share that the Directory of Open Access Books (DOAB) has successfully migrated to a new open source environment, based on DSpace 6. Following the migration, all its services will remain free of charge with all data being freely available.
